Thankful for the Opportunity to Serve

Farm Bureau Insurance in Mississippi is thankful for our loyal clients. Its part of an ongoing legacy of local customer service that is embedded into our communities—Mississippians helping Mississippians—going back over 70 years.

We Started With Farmers

Back in 1947, what would become known as the Farm Bureau Insurance Companies in Mississippi started as a way to provide insurance protection for the farmer members of Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation. At the time, these farmers didn’t have adequate insurance options that could cover the specific needs of an agricultural business. They needed policies designed to protect everything on their farm, from livestock and crops to structural buildings and equipment. A lot has changed over the last 70 years but one thing that has not changed is our commitment to offer the coverage our clients need at a competitive price through local Agents.

Expanding Our Base

Over time, Farm Bureau Insurance in Mississippi began offering insurance products that were tailored to more than the farm community. Since Farm Bureau was MS based and had offices in every County, Farm Bureau became a great local option to meet the insurance needs of the community at-large. The Farm Bureau Insurance Companies quickly became a trusted source for Life Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Auto Insurance and more while always investing in and supporting our local communities. That is one of the reasons we are known as “The Home Team.”
